Some Plans...

Thus far, my research hasn't been completely focused. Rather, it's been all over the place. And that was getting sort of uncomfortable for me. It was okay in the beginning, but it's definitely time to get myself more organized. So, I have a "plan" for doing so.

I want to investigate some questions that I have been asking; What political issues are commonly deemed most controversial? Which are the most necessary for our country to focus on? Why is it that they are so debated upon? How have they polarized us? How do adults differ from teenagers in their responses to these questions?

I am in the process of creating a list of questions-all of which are quite open ended. (I will post them when I have them completely finalized). I have made a list of teachers in my school to interview. They are each completely different in their specialties, and I have at least one for each core school subject. So, I will be hearing many very different voices, and perspectives.

After I finish with teachers, I plan to move forward by interviewing students. Using the same questions. At the end, I will hopefully be able to compare and contrast all the opinions I get. It should be an interesting experiment. But, at least it will help me become aware of the issues that are most important (to the greatest number of people).
